Ready and Waiting

Well, we're at just about 9 months here (38 weeks 3 days today), and Aa and I are both ready for this baby to come on out already! (I'm sure you hadn't noticed, but I'm HUGE!) The nursery is all ready, thanks in large part to our incredibly generous family and friends, and the lovely baby shower we had last month. The cosleeper is set up in our bedroom, the carseat is installed in my car... My last day of work was last Friday, so now I'm just waiting for my full-time mama job to start!

Look how inviting skippy's room is! Wouldn't you want to come out if you had a room like this waiting for you?

The Nursing Corner, complete with books for baby and Mama both, and plenty of toys ('cause you know, I'm sure toys are the most important thing we'll need in the first few weeks).

The Sleeping Corner, with gorgeous art from Aunt Emily and quilts made by Sarah's Nana.

And the rest of the room, prominently featuring IKEA decor (gotta start them early!), with the hospital bag all ready to go on the changing table. And isn't her dump truck full of bears the cutest thing?
